DELIVERY CONTACT PHONE NUMBER

It is really important that you provide a delivery contact phone number along with your full business name (if applicable) and complete business address.  It is critical that you do this with your payment because this is what goes on the package.  If you have provided this information previously, you still need to provide it again at time of payment.  This is because we do not save or database your name, address or phone number (we are making sure that no one gets your contact information from us to try to sell you something later on).  Every time you contact us, it is essentially like a fresh start.

Part of the reason we use FedEx ground for the bulk of our packages is that they are pretty good on the delivery end at calling if there is a delivery issue and they have a valid delivery contact phone number available.  Nearly every delivery problem we know of would have not been a problem had the customer provided a valid contact phone number. This is why our listings call out our policy that the buyer is on their own regarding delivery issues if they do not include a valid delivery contact phone number at the time of payment (we print an extra copy of each shipping label for our paper records so we know if it was there or not).  We are not going to nag people who do not send a delivery contact phone number.

If the item is being delivered by truck, shipping simply can't be scheduled until we have the delivery contact phone number.  The LTL carriers simply will not take a shipping order unless there is a delivery contact phone number.  Thus, shipping will be delayed until we get it if it is not provided with payment.  In the case of truck delivery situations, we will nag you until we get a delivery contact phone number.

We will ship international USPS airmail without a delivery contact phone number but we don't recommend it.  The odds of an item getting lost or hung up in customs is much, much higher if there is no delivery contact phone number.  Other international shipments such as air freight, ship freight, FedEx, etc. will not ship until we have a delivery contact phone number.

Again, there should be no concern with regard to the security of you contact information as we will not provide it to any other party (unless legally required by a court or law enforcement).
